After the demise of the co-founder (1994), she overtook the leadership of the company, and together with her sons and son-in-law, established the strategy of defense of the intellectual property (2000), international growth (2004), the expansion of the popular guaraná berry soft drink worldwide, and the defense of the legacy of the co-founder.
Since its foundation, Indústria Amazônia has incorporated animals and typical motifs of the Amazon forest in its labels, since the company is located in the heart of the Amazon, at the mouth of the Tocantins River in the southern branch of the Amazon.
The company registered oficially the product that was being produced since 1957 at the Registry of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture on March 26th, 1982
